I was employed as a maintenance person at a factory. I was told to sort out a leak in some guttering. They gave me a ladder which did not have rubber feet and they said that I had to do the job on my own. I spent a lot of my life working in a tarmac gang. I used a whacker plate to flatten the tarmac. Using the whacker plate meant that my arms and my whole body vibrated when I was using it.
